still going

Friday I started to tape the rudder bracket in place, this was only the underside, next will be the upper side.
After that I a made a begin for hatch with some vertical ends. I let the epoxy harden so could closed the temporary access hole in the front and tape the last piece on the forward guessed. The was what hard to do because I had to use a mirror to see what I was doing. Before it all I flattened the foil case and some HD foam. Saturday we sailed and today I did some longboarding and cut the plate for the hatch.

small steps

Friday I put some foam on the bottom for the rudder with some putty and made a part of entrance. The HD foam and the foil case where also flattened. Today I fixed front cross struts. One side was already fixed.
Saturday and Sunday we had some social race's and a bbq, foto's here.

lots of progress

Today I did everything what I had in mind. Taped the front underside, put all the HD foam pieces in place and made the upside HD around the foil case. At last I put putty on the remaining seams and screw holes.

unplanned progress

I finished early from work, sometimes the job gets done as planned. So I had some time left to do a small job on the float. I filled the HD insert around the foil case on the bottom. I did this with all kinds off carbon offcuts and  as last I put a mix of aerosil and chopped carbon fibers.

upside tape

Today I tape the upper side of the float. Wednesday I taped the stern and put some putty on the seams and the screw holes. Tomorrow I have to work so no progress, sunday I plan to tape the under front side and put some HD foam on some places. Last weekend we had jubileum from our multihull club with some races in light wind. The pictures can be seen here. Results here.

little progress

This weekend I had lots of things to do, preparing Thrill Seeker for next weekends race (gave it a scrub) and sailed with it to look how the rudder performed. I am also one off the organisers of the races so I had to prepare some things what took some time. Sunday I did tape under inside in the back and some tape on the chainplate bulkhead. After that I filled a part of the seams and screw holes on the outside. Coming weekend we go racing with Thrill Seeker so no progress with building maybe some update about the race
