lots of progress
Today I did everything what I had in mind. Taped the front underside, put all the HD foam pieces in place and made the upside HD around the foil case. At last I put putty on the remaining seams and screw holes.
Hi Arno. It is nice to see your steady progress and the neat work you are doing. I wonder about the flat piece of the float. Is that to get the necessary trailering with?
Hi Tor, You are right it is for the trailering with, I did made the beams for the 2,5m version (two versions 2,5 and 2,55) and you must make flat sides on the floats to stay in that limit. 2,5m is the legal limit in New Zealand and Australia. In EU it is 2,55m, the extra 5 cm room I use to widen the middle hull so I have max interior space and still legal without a permit. We want to sleep in the front so every cm extra with is a plus.
