upper front done

Yesterday we prepared for today's laminate, I was thinking to do the upper half in one shot but decided not to do so and I was glad to do only the front. It was not much laminate but it was a little tricky because you tend to slide downwards to the yust done laminate. I did span a rope where I could hold my self. Time was also limited because summertime started ;-)

Roof panels done

We had to be early out of beth to bring the trampoline of Thrill Seeker to the sailmaker and we decided to do some roof panels before we do go to the other shed to do some maintenance on Thrill Seeker. All the left roof panels were quicker in place than expected. Now we have to wait till friday when the 15mm side foam arrive.

Doing the roof

This morning I did some roof panels before we went to Thrill Seeker to do some things before it goes to the water. This time I glue the panels with PU construction clue, I think this is faster because I don't have to fill the seams. The panels are 61 cm wide.  I also ordered some 15mm for the panels where the windows will come. I don't want the windows on top of the outside but sunk in it.

a nice result

Fetske and I unpacked the bottom half, it is always excited to see the result. I started with the upper part off the bathans after we did cut off the excess foam on the edges. My dad dropped by to see the progress and give me a hand with the bathans.

Laminate the first part of the port half

Today we started with the lamination of the first part of the port half of the main hull, it took us seven long hours of hard work from the start till when we were done. I had planned a time lapse video but when I check afterwards there were no pictures and the battery was empty. I started with a full one, so next time I check for the first pictures and shut the display. After diner we went for a look how it was going. The sail did keep it good warm, 18 grade celsius on the coldest place.
