What are we building

F32R aft cockpit version with aft galley and build in carbon and some 32SR features like foils and daggerboard. The enterance to the head area wil be in the back

Short time line

2011

Sumer 2011 we started to think about building a new boat and what we wanted.

Thinking about a F32SR with a bigger cabin but the deck was also lower than with the normal F32 and was more squished because of the bigger floats. So we did leave that plan and looked if it was possible to do it the other way around, make a F32 with as much as possible features of a 32SR, foils, more volume in the floats (back and front), float rudders, SR dagger board, slightly longer than the base F32.

So in July 2011 we ordered the plans for a F32R. We decided to build the beams our self and make the 2,5 meter wide version (these you can only build yourself) and put the 5 cm extra in the main hull so that the total wide in folded stage is 2,55 meter. With the actual building of the beams we started in november

During the winter period 2011/12 we made lower halfs of the beams.

2012

In the summer we mostly did sail and race, this year was infect the most successful racing year, we almost did win every race we entered

2013

2014

In Juli the first half was finished and we than started with the second half.

2015

Januari we started with the cockpit floor and laminating the front beam mounts in place.

Februari we laminated the after beam mounts in place and laminated the outside of the frond and te back.

March we put the outside bunk panels in place.

April lashing tubes, traveler, laminated the front hatch, laminated the side panels for the outside bunks.

May was most of the time done to the bow and started with the inside bunk panels.

June rudder web with the stern panel in place and laminated the back floor.

Juli float transport,laminated various inside bunk panels in place.

August varius inside panel lamination.

September started making the coamings, the backrest of the inside bunks. We also did some racing with Thrill Seeker.

October started with the fridge and mast support base.

November we made the sliding hatch.

December we made the anchor locker, finish the fridge and coamings.
