Placed the new spray-hood on Thrill Seeker

In the morning I put a filler on the rudder bracket and laminated the bases for the navigation lights and I then went for a quick fix for the spray-hood to my sail maker. I made a new spray-hood last year but I still had to put some straps on it but my machine does not go thru the straps that well.
In the afternoon I did get some bold's and a pair of gas cables for the motor. On the end we placed the spray-hood on Thrill Seeker.

Primer on the rudder components

Yesterday I put some filler on the rudder components and made some base for the navigation lights.
The bases were made of foam and put to the sides with some putty. They have to made smaller and more round but the lights are now standing in the correct angle. Today I put some filler on the rudder components, the bracket will get another layer of filler now I can better see the imperfections.

The difference between the normal and HA rudder

Yesterday and to day we spend the most with Thrill Seeker to put him in the water and make him ready again. On the end off the day I did some small thing on the rudder bracket and put the first layer of filler on it. I had to touch-up the rudder of Thrill Seeker so I could see the difference between the two type of rudders. As last job I cleared wax plate of the rudder. This was a sticky thing and there is still some residue left on it what needs to be removed before the final layer of paint.

Still working on the rudder bracket

I glued some glass fiber tubes in the tiller were the bold go threw to isolate them from the carbon, but I forgot to take some pictures of it. I did some various small things like mounting the tail light, the air hose for the wast tank, drill a hole for the outboard cables and put a tube in it, measuring the length of the gas cables and put a tube on the side of the rudder bracket for a emergency tiller.

the remote tiller is slowly coming together

The last days I did took some hours free on the end of the day to do some thing on the tiller and it is started to look something. I place also some pictures of what I forgot this weekend. Frank of More marine brought me a Spinlock tiller extension so I could directly trial fit it on the tiller.

glued the bailers in place

Yesterday I had no time left to place the pictures so I place them today. I started the morning with some sanding of the rudder bracket and them Fetske did come to assist me with gluing eye and the mast raise plates on the sides, I did not take pictures of both. We then Glued the bailers for the water ballast tank in place. I then made some plates on the tiller post to fit the tiller in between. We laminated the tiller tube yesterday and is made of PVC tube with carbon around it. In the afternoon after the F1 races I started with the trailer to drill some holes in it to mount some bars on it to fix the cradle on. I did a lot of other small things but the pictures speak for them self's

Laminated the remote tiller arms

I started with some sanding and cutting carbon for the arms. After laminating the arms I grinned the the back were I put some putty. In the afternoon I put a carbon filter for the toilet in place and mounted the compressor for the fridge with some bolts, this took some time because of the cramped space. As last job I cut a space for the bow pole, this pole can be rotated and is detachable. In the same hole there is coming a plate were the pulpit will be mounted on.
