Blue again
Today and yesterday we put some blue filler on the floats. This morning I first sanded the filler of yesterday before we put the filler on the other side. Tonight I went to my sail maker Arjen Kooij to decide how the main must look and were the reefs will be positioned. This was necessary for the mast builder Axxon so that they can put some extra carbon on the reef points were the headboard stops.

long boarding agian
We first started with unpacking the trampoline tubes and they really looked nice. I then started with long boarding again on the floats this time. This is always a workout, in the morning I did one and a quarter half of the floats and my T-shirt was completely wet. After watching the F1 grand prix my arms did get some necessary rest. I then did the final part of the other float with a new dry shirt. Fetske cleaned the shed and helped me with turning the float. On the end I put some blue fill on the bow to see how long it takes to harden for sanding.

Glued the trampoline tubes in place
Tuesday we did some filling in the morning, this time with the two of us. Fetske did set up some filler and I did spread it. In the afternoon we went to Thrill Seeker to do some sailing for a couple of days. Today we had some shopping to do like piking up some glass fiber tubes, an escape hatch and Lithium ion battery and as last stop some biaxial carbon. On the end of the day I glued the glass fiber tubes for the trampoline in place with some glass putty. This style of tube is not what is on the drawing , but I looked at some boats who had the same setup and I decided that this was much simpler and lighter.

laminating inside the foil cases
Yesterday we started with laminating the foil cases on the inside, there must be some layers carbon on the edges from the outside to the inside of the foil cases. We wanted the do both but we did run out of time and we had to go to a far well party from friends Trijnie and Hennie who are going to sail for along time over the world in there Grainger 40 tri Yana.
Today I unpacked yesterdays work what was done with vacuum and the result was very good. The next thing to do was laminating the other float foil case. In the afternoon we started to cut open the inspection holes. They were laminated over for the easy vacuum backing of the outsides. Fetske did grind the foam away so we could fill them with putty. We decide to close also the back temporary holes, they are needed to laminate the beams on its place but we are making there inspection holes.
