Glued the bottom on the anchorwell

Today we glued the bottom to the anchorwell but first we had to make it fit and rounded the edges.
I also drilled a hole in the bulkhead to fit a PVC pipe to drain the lower point of the anchorwell.

After the bottom was done we started with a shelf in the front locker and a shelf for the kitchen locker.
They are made from thin triplex and get a thin layer laminate.

Glued the sides of the anchor locker in place

Today we glued the sides of the deeper section of the anchor locker in place. I fixed the panels with some  screws so they stay emplace during the hardening of the epoxy. The bottom will be placed next weekend and hope to laminate the also the corners and the blank foam.

Cutting in the ankerwell to fit a Spade A80

Today we started with some jobs from our todo list. One of them is making the ankerwell a bit different so that a Spade A80 anker fits.
I did discus this with Kurt a fellow F32 builder and he did came with a different solution than I had that time. Today we decided after some measuring to do it Kurts way and put the multitool in the well.
Tomorrow we will look if we can glue some panels together and do some sanding of the old edges.

Some pictures of my heavy weather jib setup, toilet door and Battle Sticks

It is a long time I put some pictures up again of some mods I did on my boat.
I have the heavy weather jib one year now and this year I used it a couple of time to get the boat more under controle and get some more comfort with stronger winds. Last week I did setup the long battle sticks the same way I had them on Thrill Seeker. We did put the toilet door in place, this time not with a zipper because that was not working.

Colligo Cheeky Tang fittings

Today we did place the Colligo Cheeky tangs on the mast, Gary did a nice job for me to make the thru-bold exactly on the richt length and make some special lock nuts. The loop is going thru the side stays later when the mast is on the boat again for transport. The side stay has a loop but that it not big enough voor the tangs so I use a loop to do so.
